Overview:
- The Frame 600SS is the smallest and most compact model in EcoSmart's Frame Series, a zero-clearance linear insert that frames into a wood or metal stud wall rather than needing a masonry chimney. At 746mm wide and close to square in proportion, it suits an accent wall or a smaller room where the wider Frame sizes would look out of scale.
Design & Build:
- Mild steel construction with a zinc-sealed hi-temp powder coat surround and a toughened glass fire screen; the integrated windscreen sits flush behind the frame rather than protruding. The Grade 304 stainless BK5 burner (optional black ceramic coating) delivers 13,000 BTU/h (13.72 MJ/h).
What it does well:
- Self-contained, zero-clearance construction means it installs into a standard stud wall without a hearth, flue or chimney, and runs 7 to 11 hours per 5-litre fill. At 29kg it's the lightest fireplace in the Frame range, more manageable for a two-person fit than the larger sizes.
Trade-off worth knowing:
- Its near-square 746 x 798mm proportions give a compact flame picture rather than the wide, cinematic band of fire the 1200SS and 1500SS are built for. If you want a linear feature wall the flame stretches across, one of the wider Frame sizes suits that brief better.
Certification:
- This model is certified to EN 16647, the UK and EU safety standard for indoor bioethanol fireplaces.

e-NRG Bioethanol may ship separately from your EcoSmart Fire order and can arrive on a different day. A separate tracking number for the fuel order will be emailed to you.
