Overview:
- The Frame 1000SS sits in the middle of the Frame Series, a 1216mm linear opening built for a feature wall that needs more presence than the 800SS without stepping up to the largest two sizes.
Design & Build:
- The same zero-clearance stud-frame build as the rest of the range, with a Grade 304 stainless XL7 burner delivering 13,650 BTU/h (14.4 MJ/h) from a 7-litre tank, a genuine step up in output from the 800SS.
What it does well:
- Runs 9 to 12 hours per fill and is rated for a 90m³ room, nearly a third larger than the smaller 600SS's 70m³, so it's a realistic heat source for an open-plan living or dining space, not just a visual feature.
Trade-off worth knowing:
- At 1216mm wide it needs a genuinely open stretch of stud wall to frame into; narrower spaces are better served by the 600SS or 800SS. It's also a 49.7kg unit, noticeably heavier than the 800SS, so factor that into the install.
Certification:
- This model is certified to EN 16647, the UK and EU safety standard for indoor bioethanol fireplaces.
