You can choose between Corten steel or Aluminium or Aluminium with wood decoration. Corten steel arrives unrusted and develops an orange-brown patina as it weathers (this Adezz range documents that taking about four to five months), which most owners choose for its aged, garden-architecture look. Aluminium is the choice if you want a more uniform look from day one or the piece lives somewhere more sheltered.

We deliver Free to mainland United Kingdom within 5 to 10 working days. Additional charges may apply for remote areas in Scotland, Wales, Devon and Cornwall. Larger items are delivered on a pallet, kerbside, the driver isn’t required to carry it past obstacles like steps, so let us know at checkout if your access is tricky.

It’s backed by Adezz’s 5-Year Manufacturer Guarantee. On top of that, Fireside Boutique’s standard policy is 45-day returns on unused items in their original packaging (you cover return shipping on a non-faulty return, which is worth weighing up given the weight of these pieces).

The Brann Rectangular is the largest-footprint Brann at 1200 x 800 x 500 mm, and the model our own fire pit materials guide uses as its cast aluminium example. The long format suits a full-length sofa or a run of dining chairs, where the flame needs to travel down the middle of the seating rather than sit at one end.

The Brann Rectangular comes in Corten or aluminium, and the two answer the same question differently. Corten is weathering steel that forms a protective rust-coloured patina and holds it for 20 to 30 years, so the Brann Rectangular looks progressively more settled in the garden. Aluminium is corrosion-resistant from the day it arrives, never needs coating, is the lighter of the two to move, and holds no patina at all. The trade-off is weight: the mass that makes the Corten Brann Rectangular feel permanent is the same mass that makes it awkward to reposition. Choose Corten if the table is staying put and you want it to weather; choose aluminium if you want a fixed appearance from day one or you expect to move it. The one thing to plan for is the Brann Rectangular's first season: Corten bleeds orange run-off onto pale paving while it patinates, and on porous stone that can leave a permanent mark, so settle where it stands before you light it. Our fire pit materials guide sets out how both age in a British garden.

The Brann range is gas-fired with electric ignition, so it lights instantly, has no ash to clear and can be turned off when you go in. Adezz also makes wood-burning fire tables, the Ronde and the Quad, which cost less and give you the crackle and the smoke but ask you to build and clear the fire each time. Choose gas if the fire has to work on a weeknight; choose wood if the fire is the event. Our gas vs wood-burning comparison covers the running costs.
