Overview:
- The Pillar 3L is a low, lamp-style fire built to sit as a side table piece, available in Marble Black, Marble White or Oak at the same price. It's the shorter of two Pillar heights.
Design & Build:
- A cylindrical marble or oak base topped with a glass surround and brushed brass handles, running on the AB3 burner. Delivers 5,800 BTU/h (6.1 MJ/h) from a 2.5-litre tank.
What it does well:
- Runs 8 to 11 hours per fill and is rated for a 40m³ room. Its low, lamp-like proportions work as a genuine side table or floor accent rather than a room's central feature.
Trade-off worth knowing:
- It's indoor use only, and at 484mm tall it's a side piece, not a floor-standing centrepiece; the taller Pillar 3T better suits that role. The three finishes cost the same, so the choice is purely aesthetic.
Certification:
- This model is certified to EN 16647, the UK and EU safety standard for indoor bioethanol fireplaces.
