Quick verdict

The largest and most capable oven in the Igneus range, built in Britain rather than Portugal, with a 75x75cm cooking floor rated for up to four 12-inch pizzas. Takes around 30 minutes to heat from cold, longer than the smaller Classico or Bambino, but the extra insulation holds that heat across a full evening of back-to-back cooking. Available in three colourways at £1,699, currently reduced from £1,799.

For the cook who has decided wood-fired pizza is worth doing properly, the Igneus Pro 750 is the considered pick. A British-built wood-fired pizza oven sized for a serious patio, capable of holding the 450-degree floor temperature that real Neapolitan pizza demands.

The Pro 750 is built in Britain by Igneus, with a 750mm cooking floor rated for up to four 12-inch pizzas, or a single very large pizza for sharing. The dome is engineered to retain heat across a full evening of cooking, which means once you have fired it (allow 45 minutes from cold), you can keep cooking pizza after pizza for two hours without the temperature dropping below the sweet spot. The cordierite cooking stone is the same material professional Italian pizzerias use. The flue is sized to draw smoke up and away from the front opening.

Available in three configurations to suit your patio at £1,699, the Pro 750 sits in the premium tier of British outdoor pizza ovens. UK-built, with UK-based support. Browse the full pizza oven collection for alternatives at other sizes and price points.

Pro 750 questions, answered

How is the Pro 750 different from the Classico?

It is the largest oven in the Igneus range, with a 75 x 75cm cooking floor against the Classico’s 60 x 60cm, rated for up to four 12-inch pizzas. It is also built in Britain rather than Portugal, and takes longer to heat, around 30 minutes against the Classico’s 15 to 20.

Why does the Pro 750 take longer to heat up than the smaller ovens?

The extra insulation that lets it hold heat across a full evening of back-to-back cooking also means it takes longer to bring up to temperature from cold, around 30 minutes rather than 15 to 20.

Is the Pro 750 suitable for commercial use?

Yes, it is rated for commercial, domestic or outdoor use. When used commercially, the fire should be placed at the back of the oven.

How heavy is the Pro 750, and does it need fixing down?

It is 90kg, the heaviest oven in the Igneus range. An optional fixing kit is available to anchor it securely for extra stability, worth considering for frequent or commercial use.

What colours are available, and is it currently discounted?

Graphite, Black or Red. It is currently £1,699, reduced from £1,799.

What is the warranty?

2 years as standard, extending to 3 years when you register the oven with Igneus.

Who the Pro 750 is for

It is a good fit if:

  • Households or small businesses cooking pizza for extended sessions rather than one-off evenings.
  • Anyone who wants British manufacturing and support over the Portuguese-built smaller models.
  • Buyers who want the largest cooking floor in the range.

Consider something else if:

  • You will not use the extra capacity: the Classico is lighter, cheaper and heats faster.
  • You want the fastest possible heat-up time: 30 minutes is the longest in the range.
  • You have tight storage space: 90kg and the largest footprint in the range.

  • A double layer of insulation keeps internal temperatures stable while ensuring the exterior remains safe to touch, an essential feature for commercial use.
