- It's indoor use only, and at 484mm tall it's a side piece, not a floor-standing centrepiece; the taller Pillar 3T better suits that role. The three finishes cost the same, so the choice is purely aesthetic.

Does the Pillar 3L need a chimney or flue?
No. It runs on bioethanol, which burns clean with no smoke, embers or soot, so there is nothing to vent. It is entirely freestanding and needs no installation of any kind.
Can the Pillar 3L be used outdoors?
No, this model is rated for indoor use only. It needs a room of at least 40m³.
How is the Pillar 3L installed?
It isn't installed in the usual sense: it arrives assembled, ready to place on a floor, table or hearth and fuel up. There is no fixing, wiring or building work.
What does the Pillar 3L actually cost to run for an evening?
A full 2.5 litre fill burns for 8-11 hours. We sell e-NRG bioethanol at £65 for a 20 litre carton, so a full fill is about £8 and a three-hour evening works out at roughly £2 to £3. There is no standing cost, since it only uses fuel while it is alight.
Should I choose the Pillar 3L or the 3T?
They share the same AB3 burner, finishes and price band. The 3L is 484mm tall, built as a low side-table or floor accent; the 3T steps up to 604mm for a genuine floor-standing piece. Pick on height and role, not output.
Which fuel does the Pillar 3L burn, and do you sell it?
It runs on e-NRG bioethanol, which we stock in 20 litre cartons. Bioethanol produces no smoke, embers or ash, so there is nothing to clean out after use.
Are there any accessories that fit the Pillar 3L?
Yes. Its AB3 burner takes the AB3 Lid, sold separately.
