Does the Gardeco Granada come with a BBQ grill?
No. The Granada does not include a BBQ grill, unlike Gardeco's Toledo range. It is built as a heating chimenea. A grill is available separately from Gardeco if you want to add one later.
What fuel does the Granada chimenea burn?
Wood, charcoal or coal. Unlike Gardeco's clay chimeneas, which should not be used with coal because it burns too hot for fired clay, this cast iron and steel model handles all three fuels without issue.
How heavy is the Granada, and how is it delivered?
It weighs 19.5kg and arrives in a mail order carton by dedicated van courier, typically within 7 to 10 working days. Plan on two people for the last stretch of moving it into position.
Will the Granada rust?
Over time, yes. Cast iron and steel corrode naturally when left outdoors, and this is not a defect. Wiping the surface with oil after use and fitting a chimenea cover slows it considerably. Light surface rust does not stop the chimenea working.
