Overview:
- The T-Lite 8 is the larger of EcoSmart's two tealight-style portable fires, stepping up from the T-Lite 3's AB3 burner to the AB8, more than three times the heat output in a similarly compact cylinder shape.

Design & Build:
- Stainless steel construction with a glass cylinder surround, available in Black or Stainless Steel at the same price. The AB8 burner delivers 20,433 BTU/h (21.56 MJ/h) from an 8-litre tank, against the T-Lite 3’s 5,800 BTU/h.

What it does well:
- Like the T-Lite 3, a removable bung switches it between indoor and outdoor use. It's rated for a 116m³ room, nearly three times the T-Lite 3's 40m³, so it genuinely heats a space rather than just accenting it.

Trade-off worth knowing:
- Burn time is 7 to 9 hours per fill, shorter than the T-Lite 3's 8 to 11 hours, the trade-off for the much higher heat output. At 18.2kg it's also heavier to move between indoor and outdoor settings than the smaller T-Lite 3.

T-Lite 8 questions, answered
Does the T-Lite 8 need a chimney or flue?
No. It runs on bioethanol, which burns clean with no smoke, embers or soot, so there is nothing to vent. It is entirely freestanding and needs no installation of any kind.
Can the T-Lite 8 be used both indoors and outdoors?
Yes. A removable bung switches it between the two: fitted for indoor use, removed for outdoor use. It needs a room of at least 116m³ indoors.
How is the T-Lite 8 installed?
It isn't installed in the usual sense: it arrives assembled, ready to place on a floor, table or hearth and fuel up. There is no fixing, wiring or building work.
What does the T-Lite 8 actually cost to run for an evening?
A full 8 litre fill burns for 7-9 hours. We sell e-NRG bioethanol at £65 for a 20 litre carton, so a full fill is about £26 and a three-hour evening works out at roughly £9 to £11. There is no standing cost, since it only uses fuel while it is alight.
Should I choose the T-Lite 8 or the T-Lite 3?
Both use the same removable-bung system to move between indoor and outdoor use. The T-Lite 8 steps up to the AB8 burner for over three times the heat output (116m³ against 40m³ rating), at the cost of a shorter 7-9 hour burn time against the 3's 8-11, and a heavier 18.2kg against 11.2kg.
Which fuel does the T-Lite 8 burn, and do you sell it?
It runs on e-NRG bioethanol, which we stock in 20 litre cartons. Bioethanol produces no smoke, embers or ash, so there is nothing to clean out after use.
Are there any accessories that fit the T-Lite 8?
Yes. Its AB8 burner takes the AB8 Lid and AB8 Efficiency Ring, sold separately.

Who the T-Lite 8 is for
It is a good fit if:

Consider something else if:
- Easy carrying between rooms matters most: the T-Lite 3 is notably lighter (11.2kg against 18.2kg) and burns for longer per fill.
