- The T-Lite 3 is the smaller of EcoSmart's two tealight-style portable fires, a compact cylinder that moves between indoor and outdoor settings via a removable bung rather than being fixed to one or the other.

- Stainless steel construction with a glass cylinder surround, available in Black or Stainless Steel at the same price. The AB3 burner delivers 5,800 BTU/h (6.1 MJ/h) from a 2.5-litre tank.

What it does well:
- A special bung is inserted for indoor use or removed for outdoor use, so the same unit genuinely moves between a living room and a terrace rather than being rated for one setting only. At 11.2kg it's light enough to carry between rooms.

Trade-off worth knowing:
- At 340mm square it's a compact accent piece, not a room's main heat source; its 8 to 11 hour burn covers a 40m³ space. If you want more heat output in the same portable format, the T-Lite 8 runs a larger AB8 burner in a similar cylinder shape.

T-Lite 3 questions, answered
Does the T-Lite 3 need a chimney or flue?
No. It runs on bioethanol, which burns clean with no smoke, embers or soot, so there is nothing to vent. It is entirely freestanding and needs no installation of any kind.
Can the T-Lite 3 be used both indoors and outdoors?
Yes. A removable bung switches it between the two: fitted for indoor use, removed for outdoor use. It needs a room of at least 40m³ indoors.
How is the T-Lite 3 installed?
It isn't installed in the usual sense: it arrives assembled, ready to place on a floor, table or hearth and fuel up. There is no fixing, wiring or building work.
What does the T-Lite 3 actually cost to run for an evening?
A full 2.5 litre fill burns for 8-11 hours. We sell e-NRG bioethanol at £65 for a 20 litre carton, so a full fill is about £8 and a three-hour evening works out at roughly £2 to £3. There is no standing cost, since it only uses fuel while it is alight.
Should I choose the T-Lite 3 or the T-Lite 8?
Both use the same removable-bung system to move between indoor and outdoor use. The T-Lite 3 is the lighter, more portable of the two at 11.2kg with an 8-11 hour burn. The T-Lite 8 runs the larger AB8 burner for over three times the heat output, at a shorter burn time and heavier weight.
Which fuel does the T-Lite 3 burn, and do you sell it?
It runs on e-NRG bioethanol, which we stock in 20 litre cartons. Bioethanol produces no smoke, embers or ash, so there is nothing to clean out after use.
Are there any accessories that fit the T-Lite 3?
Yes. Its AB3 burner takes the AB3 Lid, sold separately.
