- The larger sibling of the Vertigo 40, this 127cm square table keeps the same low, lounge-height profile but scales up for bigger seating groups.

Design & Build:
- The tabletop comes in Natural, Graphite or Bone Fluid Concrete Composite, finished to resist scratches, stains and mould through a full UK outdoor season. An optional square or round glass fire screen is available separately for wind protection.

Fuel:
- Three fuel options: Bioethanol for indoor or outdoor use, or Liquid Propane and Natural Gas for outdoor use only. Bioethanol delivers 6kW (20,433 BTU/h) with a 7 to 9 hour burn from 8 litres. Gas runs hotter, up to 65,000 BTU/h: Liquid Propane lasts 8 to 20 hours per tank, Natural Gas burns for as long as you leave it on.

What it does well:
- The 127cm square top gives enough surface for drinks and plates on every side, so it works for a full ring of armchairs and ottomans rather than just two seats either side.

Trade-off worth knowing:
- At 94.8kg it's meaningfully heavier than the Vertigo 40 (69.3kg), so factor a multi-person lift into delivery day if you're placing it somewhere awkward to reach.

Certification:
- This model is certified to EN 16647, the UK and EU safety standard for indoor bioethanol fireplaces.
Natural Gas requires professional installation: a certified plumber must fit a permanent gas connection before use. This installation is not included in the price and is not arranged by us; it is the customer's responsibility. Liquid Propane needs no installation and runs from an external tank.
Vertigo 50 questions, answered
Can the Vertigo 50 be used indoors?
Yes, on bioethanol. It needs a room of at least 116m³ (4,097 ft³). The Liquid Propane and Natural Gas versions are for outdoor use only.
How is the Vertigo 50 delivered, and will I need help getting it into place?
Delivery is free to UK mainland, and it comes on a pallet to the easiest access point on your property, usually the driveway or the front of the house. It is not brought inside, unpacked or assembled. Plan on a three or four-person lift, or a hired trolley - this is not something two people should attempt. It weighs 94.8kg and is 127cm x 127cm across. If access is tight, message us before ordering and we will talk it through.
What does the Vertigo 50 actually cost to run for an evening?
On bioethanol: a full 8 litre fill burns for 7-9 hours. We sell e-NRG bioethanol at £65 for a 20 litre carton, so a full fill is about £26 and a three-hour evening works out at roughly £9 to £11. There is no standing cost, since it only uses fuel while it is alight. Liquid Propane and Natural Gas running costs depend on your tank/meter supplier, so we cannot quote a fixed figure for those.
Does the Vertigo 50 need professional installation?
Only the Natural Gas version. That needs a certified plumber to fit a permanent gas connection before use; the installation is not included in the price and is not arranged by us. Bioethanol and Liquid Propane need no installation, and Liquid Propane runs from an external tank you can disconnect and move.
What is the difference between the Vertigo 50 and the Vertigo 40?
Same low-set square design and the same AB8 burner. Vertigo 50 is bigger (127cm x 127cm against 100cm x 100cm), heavier, costs more, and adds a Bone finish option the Vertigo 40 doesn't have.
Which fuel does the Vertigo 50 burn, and do you sell it?
The bioethanol version runs on e-NRG bioethanol, which we stock in 20 litre cartons. Bioethanol produces no smoke, embers or ash, so there is no flue and nothing to clear out afterwards.
Can I leave the Vertigo 50 outside all year?
Yes. The concrete composite is made to handle a full UK outdoor season; a twice-yearly coat of clear polymer sealer keeps it looking new (see the manufacturer's care guide).
Who the Vertigo 50 is for
It is a good fit if:
- You are furnishing a larger low-lounge seating group: the biggest low-set square table we sell, at 127cm x 127cm, with ample surface for food and drinks on every side.
- You want a third finish option: Vertigo 50 adds Bone, which the Vertigo 40 doesn't offer.
Consider something else if:
- You have a smaller space or budget: the Vertigo 40 covers the same low-set style at 100cm x 100cm for less, and is meaningfully lighter to move.
