-
Overview:
- The largest and most powerful heater in Heatscope's range at 3,200W, with a ceramic glass front and a sculpted end-cap design.
-
Design & Build:
- Measures 1,660 x 184 x 87mm - substantially longer than the Pure/Next/Pure+ family - and weighs 10kg. Available in Black or White, on standard UK 220-240V mains.
-
Control & Installation:
- Reaches full heat in 30-60 seconds, slower than the smaller Spot and Pure models, reflecting its larger heating area. Radiant efficiency is 87% or higher and visible light output is around 300 lumens.
-
What it does well:
- The same flush-ceiling Lift system, Dual Fixing Brackets and Weathershield support as the Spot 2800W, in the longest heater Heatscope offers.
-
Trade-off worth knowing:
- At 10kg it's the heaviest unit to mount in the range, and its quoted radiant efficiency (87%) is a few points below the smaller Spot and Pure models (90-94%).

Vision 3200W questions, answered
How much does the Vision 3200W cost to run?+
At 3,200W and the current Ofgem price cap unit rate of 26.11p/kWh (Jul-Sep 2026), running it flat out costs around 84p per hour - the highest in the range, matching its position as the most powerful model.
Can the Vision 3200W be recessed flush into the ceiling?+
Yes, using the Lift system together with the Vision 3200 Lift Box and Vision 3200 Lift Frame - all three are needed for the flush-recess install.
Is there weather protection available?+
Yes, the Weathershield 5 is designed for this model, for installations where no covering is possible.
Can I mount two Vision 3200W units together?+
Yes, using the separately-sold Dual Fixing Brackets.
Can the Vision 3200W be controlled with an app or smart home system?+
Yes, it's compatible with the ZigBee Bridge, Wireless Switch and Motion Sensor, plus the Dual WiFi Smart Switch. It doesn't use the SmartBox, which is built for the Pure family instead.
What's the difference between the Vision 3200W and the Spot 2800W?+
Both share the same Lift-system, Weathershield and Dual Fixing Bracket accessory ecosystem, but Vision has a discreet glass front (vs Spot's grille), is nearly double the length (1,660mm vs 884mm), outputs more power (3,200W vs 2,800W), and costs £545 more.
Who Vision 3200W is for
It is a good fit if:
- You want the most powerful heater in the range and the widest physical coverage (1,660mm long).
- You want the same flush-ceiling Lift system and weather-shielded mounting as the Spot 2800W, but with a discreet glass front.
Consider something else if:
- You want a smaller, lighter unit - every other model in the range is lighter than Vision's 10kg, and cheaper too except the Pure+ 3000W, which matches Vision's £1,495.
- Radiant efficiency matters most to you - Vision's 87% is a few points below the Spot/Pure family's 90-94%.
How this compares to the Spot 2800W
Vision 3200W and Spot 2800W are the two models in the range with Lift-system, Dual Fixing Bracket and Weathershield support - they differ in front material, length, power and price.
| Model | Front | Power | Pick it for | Price | Weight | Colours |
