Overview:
- A glass-fronted 3,000W electric radiant heater from Heatscope's Pure range: an aluminium body with a ceramic glass front instead of a visible grille, for a more discreet finish when switched off.

Design & Build:
- Measures 1,042 x 166 x 87mm and weighs 7.5kg, available in Black or White. Recommended installation height 2.1-2.7m. Runs on standard UK 220-240V mains at 13.04A.

Control & Installation:
- Reaches maximum output in 20-30 seconds, with a radiant efficiency of 90% or higher. Surface temperature runs up to 300°C, but the outer body stays at a maximum of 130°C.

- Full SmartBox, ZigBee and Dual WiFi Smart Switch compatibility for app or remote control - the same control ecosystem as the Next 3000W and Pure+ 3000W.

- No Dual Fixing Brackets, Lift system or Weathershield available for this model - mounting is wall or ceiling only, with no flush-recessed or weather-shielded option like the Spot/Vision range.

How much does the Pure 3000W cost to run?
At 3,000W and the current Ofgem price cap unit rate of 26.11p/kWh (Jul-Sep 2026), running it flat out costs around 78p per hour.
What does the SmartBox add, and do I need it?
SmartBox (sold separately in Black or White, £200) mounts between the power supply and the heater and includes its own IR remote - it's the control unit Heatscope built specifically for the Pure family. ZigBee and Dual WiFi Smart Switch accessories are also compatible.
Can the Pure 3000W be recessed into the ceiling or fitted with a weather shield?
No - there's no Lift system, Dual Fixing Brackets or Weathershield available for this model. Mounting is wall or ceiling only.
What height should the Pure 3000W be installed at?
Heatscope's own specification recommends an installation height of 2.1-2.7m.
Does the Pure 3000W need professional installation?
It needs a qualified electrician for the fixed wall or ceiling wiring; this isn't included in the price.
What's the difference between the Pure 3000W, Next 3000W and Pure+ 3000W?
All three share the same 3,000W output, price bracket and control ecosystem. Next 3000W swaps Pure's glass front for a lighter aluminium grille (6.5kg vs 7.5kg). Pure+ 3000W keeps Pure's glass front and weight but adds Alexa/Google Assistant compatibility, for £100 more.
Who Pure 3000W is for
It is a good fit if:
- You want a discreet, near-invisible glass front rather than a visible grille.
- You're comfortable adding the separate SmartBox for full remote control.
Consider something else if:
- You want the same spec in a lighter build - the Next 3000W is a kilogram lighter.
- You want Alexa/Google Assistant voice control - that's the Pure+ 3000W.
- You need a flush-ceiling or weather-shielded install - not available on any Pure-family model; look at the Spot 2800W or Vision 3200W.
