FireCask Fire Pit questions, answered

What does the FireCask look like when it's not lit?

Its diagonal-bar frame and bronze-effect finish work as a garden feature even without a fire going.

Does the FireCask come with a poker?

Yes, a fire poker is included so you can tend the fire from the first light.

Is the FireCask easy to reposition?

It stands on a stable four-legged base with handles for moving it around.

What are the dimensions, weight and material of the FireCask?

Bronze-effect steel, measuring Ø42 x H53cm and weighing 7.0kg.

How quickly will my FireCask arrive?

It carries free next day delivery to UK mainland addresses on orders placed before midday on a weekday; remote parts of Scotland, Wales, Devon and Cornwall may incur an additional charge.

Fire pit or outdoor fireplace: which is better for a UK garden?

An outdoor fireplace and a fire pit are not interchangeable. The Firecask is the fire pit side of that choice: it's open with no flue, radiating heat in every direction so people can sit all the way round it. An outdoor fireplace instead stands upright with a chimney, throwing heat forward from a single opening. Choose a fire pit when the fire itself should be the centre of the circle, not to one side of it.
