Glamm Fire Solace | Rusted Steel Wood Burning Luxury Firepit

The Glamm Fire Solace is a wood-burning fire pit in rusted Corten steel, a material that develops a stable, self-protecting oxide patina through outdoor exposure rather than corroding progressively. The deliberate rusted finish is structural, not decorative: once the patina establishes (typically one outdoor season in UK conditions), it seals the steel surface and stops progressing. The Solace requires no treatment, no seasonal storage, and no cover.

Glamm Fire is a Portuguese manufacturer focused on outdoor fire features for architects and garden designers. The Solace's open-sided form suits gardens where the fire is the focal point of an evening rather than a secondary heat source. The design keeps the flame visible from all sides, which works well positioned at the centre of a seating arrangement.

Wood burning in a garden fire pit is increasingly popular for the experience it creates, the act of laying and tending a fire adds to an evening. The Solace is sized for standard split logs and produces enough heat to sit comfortably outdoors on a British summer evening after dark. Corten is visually distinctive: it reads as a considered, architect-chosen material rather than a catalogue finish. Paired with the right outdoor seating, the Solace reads as a design feature rather than a purchase.

Width: 105cm wide. Finish: Finished in Rusted Steel.

Solace questions, answered

Who the Solace is for

It is a good fit if:

• Buyers who want a fire pit that needs zero maintenance once weathered in: no cover, no seasonal storage.
• Gardens where the fire pit is the visual centrepiece of a seating circle.
• Anyone drawn to Corten’s architectural, rust-patina look.

Consider something else if:

• You want a bioethanol option: wood-burning only.
• You dislike the rusted-steel look while it develops its patina in the first season.
• You want a lighter, more portable piece: 120kg is a permanent placement.
